

At Travel Concepts, we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal, business, and travel information. In fact, it is one of our highest priorities and remains the cornerstone of our commitment to you. We use vigorous security safeguards whether you provide information via the Internet, verbally or in writing and we adhere to Ten Privacy Principles to ensure your personal information is protected.
What Information do we collect and how?
Travel Concepts gathers and uses personal information only to provide you with the travel services you have requested, or to offer additional products and services we believe you might be interested in. Should you not longer wish to receive information on such promotions and services, kindly e-mail us at info@trvlconcepts.com.
Providing us with your personal information is always your choice. Most of the information we collect comes to us directly from you, and only with your consent. When you purchase travel or make enquiries about tickets or other products and services, when you enter our contests or register for promotions or when you request brochures or other information, we will ask for your mailing address, e-mail, telephone number(s) and certain financial details necessary in order to process a booking transaction you have authorized.
When you visit the Travel Concepts web site, information is not collected that could identify you personally unless you choose to provide it voluntarily. You are welcome to browse our site anonymously and privately at any time without revealing personal information about yourself. All the information you provide to us is securely maintained and is kept strictly confidential. We do not allow any third parties access to our mailing lists.
At Travel Concepts, your piece of mind is our top priority and we therefore adhere to the 10 principles of privacy outlined in PIPEDA, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. In addition, we adhere to the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act Accountability.
Travel Concepts is responsible for maintaining and protecting the customer information under its control. In fulfilling this mandate, Travel Concepts has appointed Ellie Hender, CTC, MCC, Managing Partner of the Ambleside office to be accountable for the compliance to the company Privacy Pledge.
Identifying Purposes of Collection
The purposes for which customer information is collected shall be identified to you before or at the time that information is collected.
Consent
As our client, your knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information except where required or permitted by law.
Limiting Collection
The information we collect is limited to those details necessary for Travel Concepts to perform its business activities and to service its relationship with you. Information will only be collected by fair and lawful means and Travel Concepts will never sell, distribute, barter or transfer any personally identifiable information obtained from you to a third party without your permission.
Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention
Customer information may only be used or disclosed by Travel Concepts for the purpose for which it was collected unless the customer has otherwise consented, or when it is required or permitted by law. As we act primarily in the capacity of an agent, Travel Concepts is obliged to disclose your personal information to other companies involved in providing your travel or related services and facilities. Under these circumstances other companies may receive your personal information but are legally bound to safeguard this information and not use if for any other purposes, although Travel Concepts is not responsible for ensuring this. Customer information may only be retained for the period of time required to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.
Accuracy
Customer information is maintained in as accurate, complete and up-to-date form as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is to be used.
Safeguarding Your Information
Travel Concepts uses vigorous security safeguards to ensure that your privacy is protected. We have implemented appropriate physical, electronic and managerial security procedures that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information. It is our aim to ensure that your personal information is protected from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction.

We invite you to examine and correct any personal information that we may have on file for you. We would be happy to demonstrate that our record-keeping practices comply with the regulations set out in the Act.
Customer Access
Upon request, a customer shall be given access to all his/her personal information that we have on file. Customers may verify the accuracy and completeness of their information, and may request that it be amended or removed if appropriate.
